Disney Content Removal Could Cost Netflix Nearly 30% of Its Users Figures comes from a new survey by
'The Hollywood Reporter' and Morning Consult. Just over 2,200 adults were
polled earlier this month. In it, 28% said they would leave Netflix if Disney films or Marvel and 'Star Wars' movies left the streamer. But in contrast to the poll, Netflix doesn't have many Marvel and 'Star Wars' movies. According to Slash Film, there are
no more than five Marvel flicks to be
viewed at a time. There are even less films surrounding the 'Star Wars' universe. Due to content leaving, Netflix has raised prices to accommodate its rising production of original media. Once Disney+ debuts with Marvel and 'Star Wars' content in November, it remains to be
seen how much it will hurt Netflix.
